Location, location, location. This is the greatest parking lot to eat your fast food in. Nobody wants that garbage cold, it has to be hot to be worth the calories. Watch out for lot lizards. Unless that's your thing, no judgement.

I was staying in a room with a Kitchenette and included free breakfast at adjoining Monica's restaurant, served 6am - 10am. Monica's is in the same parking lot as the hotel. I would like to give a huge shout out to the Korean front desk staff named Amy who was always willing to help and displayed a genuine smile on face. Front desk displayed no stupid tantrums if they had the power to make your stay more comfortable. I checked in at almost midnight and there was no need trying to wake up the Night Auditor staff working there. Room was quite big with lots of light and sunshine. Kitchenette had almost everything you might need like cutlery and Pans giving you an Airbnb like experience and giving you option to minimize cost if staying for a week or two. Telus TV and heating in room were spot on. The only downside i could think of was that the Bathroom and Bedsheets were not as sparkling as any hotel a tad more expensive but I could easily live with the cleanliness that its room offered. Another bonus for me was to find that Costco stood at a 2 minute walk and Walmart at a 5 minute walk. Fast food lovers will admire that there is a Macdonald and an A&W right beside the hotel parking. The other big advantage for me was that i could park anything from a car to a transport semi truck in adjoining hotel parking.

The ladies in the lobby were very friendly and helpful to me. The rooms were old school, but clean and well kept for the price. Sipps Lounge is a good place for something to eat and plenty of parking on site. Oh and did I mention they are one of only a few hotels in Grande Prairie with fast WiFi? Good stuff.

Have stayed here quite a few times but noticed there change to the travel lodge now. Still the free breakfast but my reasoning for one less star is because the restaurant for breakfast opens and 6 now not 5:30. Anyways great place to stay if your in town for work! Close to all the main roads!
